ONLYOFFICE connector v9.10.1 for ownCloud: diagram viewing, new supported file formats, live-viewing mode for shared documents and more

Good news for ownCloud users!

Our official integration app for ownCloud has been updated to version 9.10.1. With the updated app, you can now view diagrams, work with more file formats, enable the live-view mode for files shared via public links, insert SVG images and more. Open diagrams for viewing

The version 9.10.1 release brings the functionality of ONLYOFFICE Diagram Viewer to the ownCloud platform, making it possible to open mind maps, flowcharts, organizational charts, journey maps and other popular types of diagrams. Specifically, the updated integration app now supports .vsdx, .vssx, .vstx, .vsdm, .vssm and .vstm files.

Open and edit new file formats

With version 9.10.1, ownCloud users can enjoy extended format compatibility. What this means is that now you can:

• Open .odg and .md documents for viewing;
• Edit .xlsb spreadsheets without conversion.

Enable the live-viewing mode for shared documents

The updated ONLYOFFICE connector makes collaborative work easier, allowing you to enable the live-viewing mode for documents shared via external links. When this option is enabled, external users can see all changes made by other collaborators in real time, even if they are only viewing the shared document.

Insert .svg images

Another useful feature in the updated ONLYOFFICE and ownCloud integration is the ability to insert .svg images into your documents, spreadsheets and presentations. To add one, access the Insert tab, click Image and choose the desired option — Image from file, Image from URL or Image from storage.

Set the default interface theme

With the updated integration app, you can configure the default interface theme via the ONLYOFFICE customization settings, choosing between the Same as system, Light and Dark options.

Other updates

There are also some other changes that you can find in version 9.10.1:

• When the connection is restored, opened files refresh automatically;
• The outdated customization_goback and toolbarNoTabs settings were removed;
• When you open the ONLYOFFICE settings page, and there is an error in the connector’s configuration, you will see the corresponding message.
