Great news for Zoom users! Our freshly released app for Zoom is here bringing the ability to edit and co-author office files within Zoom using ONLYOFFICE DocSpace. Read on to learn all the details.

Built with document collaboration in mind

ONLYOFFICE DocSpace app for Zoom allows you to work on any content directly within Zoom Meetings together with others:

  • Create, upload and share docs providing Edit or Live view permissions.
  • Co-author docs, sheets, slides in real time with other participants using two co-editing modes, Track Changes, comments.
  • Use the integrated AI helper to generate, summarize and translate texts.
  • Discuss and fill out complex online forms, i.e. sales agreements or contracts.
  • Navigate through PDF docs, add comments, annotations, drawings.
  • Store files edited during Zoom meeting within a collaboration room and get constant access to them from anywhere at any time.

Besides, you can use a DocSpace account which will be created after the first app authorization to efficiently manage files between meetings:

  • Organize your personal files and create Collaboration or Custom rooms for your business documents.
  • Provide flexible access permissions: edit, comment, review, or view only.
  • Use Public rooms to give access to your docs to people outside of your space.

The newly released app is available absolutely free of charge.

The created DocSpace account is also provided for free. Besides, everyone who will register before August 1, 2024 can benefit from the special offer. The promo tariff comprises:

  • 100 admin users;
  • 100 rooms;
  • 100 GB disk space.

The provided tariff plan will be active for 6 months from the registration date.

If you have a big team and will need more administrators or more file storage, you can opt for DocSpace Business which requires payment only for admins and power users with extended rights. All other regular users can be added absolutely for free.

Easy to start and use

1. Sign into your Zoom account.

2. Install ONLYOFFICE DocSpace via the Apps section and allow the requested app permissions.

3. Start a meeting, switch to the Apps tab and launch the ONLYOFFICE DocSpace app.

4. Initiate a collaboration session by selecting the needed file form the list. You can grant Edit or Live View permission level to other meeting participants.

5. When the meeting is over, access all the changes made in the corresponding ONLYOFFICE DocSpace room.

Do I need to register anywhere to be able to use the app?

No. When you start using the app, a free DocSpace account is automatically created based on your Zoom data (account ID, name, email).

What can I do in the created ONLYOFFICE DocSpace account?

You can create collaboration, custom and public rooms, invite users, edit various documents, work with any content store there. Check functionality guides

What if I already have a DocSpace account?

You can also use the app, however a new DocSpace account will be created since the first app version doesn’t support DocSpace account sync.

Is this integration free?

ONLYOFFICE DocSpace app for Zoom is available absolutely free of charge. The created DocSpace account is also provided under the free plan, and it’s possible to switch to DocSpace Business if necessary.

How to find the edited file after the meeting?

All the changes made in a file or several files during the collaboration session are saved in the automatically created DocSpace room named Zoom Collaboration_date_time.
