ONLYOFFICE Docs 9.1 brings a suite of exciting features directly to DocSpace in this update, enhancing editing, viewing, and collaboration across multiple file types. Enjoy the latest version of the editors with:
- Redact, more annotation tools, support for charts and SmartArt in PDF Editor;
- Setting the text direction for cells and faster LOOKUP formulas in sheets;
- Enhanced charts across all editors;
- Customizing the display of resolved and open comments;
- Dedicated Slide Master tab in presentations;
- HEIF & HWPML file support.

Smarter sharing for seamless collaboration
One of the cornerstone updates in version 3.5 is the overhaul of the sharing capabilities. We’ve made it easier and more flexible than ever to share your work with colleagues, partners, and clients.
Share folders without creating rooms
You can now share folders directly from “My Documents” without the need to create a dedicated room first. This simplifies ad-hoc collaboration and gives you more control over your file structure.
Individual sharing links
Generate separate, dedicated sharing links for both internal and external users. This applies to files and folders, whether they are inside a room or in your personal “My Documents” section. This enhancement provides greater flexibility, allowing even User accounts – which cannot create rooms – to share content effortlessly. By sharing files and folders individually, you gain precise control over who has access to your information.
Effortless file and folder management
Finding and organizing your files is simpler with several new sections designed to bring your most important content to the forefront.
New “Shared with Me” section
Welcome to your new central hub for collaboration. The “Shared with Me” section gathers all files and folders shared with you by other users, including items from their “My Documents” and content accessed via shared links.
Quick access with “Recent” and “Favorites”
Keep your workflow moving with two more additions:
- Recent: This section displays the last 100 files you’ve worked on across your Documents, rooms, and shared items, making it easy to pick up where you left off.
- Favorites: Mark any file or folder as a favorite to keep it within easy reach. This is your go-to spot for your most critical documents.
Productivity and room management boosts
DocSpace 3.5 is packed with features that refine your daily tasks and administrative duties.
Everyone. Inviting users is simpler with the new “Everyone” group, streamlining the process of adding team members to rooms.
Telegram notifications. Stay updated on the go. Receive notifications for your DocSpace Daily Feed, Room Activity, and @mentions directly in Telegram.
WeChat login. Log in seamlessly with a single click using your WeChat account.
Direct room deletion. Room management is more straightforward. Delete rooms directly without having to archive them first.
Retry failed actions. If an upload or file conversion fails, you can easily retry the action without starting from scratch.
Expanded functionality with new plugins
Enhance your DocSpace with powerful new plugins that extend its capabilities.
- Archives: Open and extract content from ZIP archives directly within DocSpace.
- Codemirror: View and edit files with various programming code formats.
- ImageEditor: Make quick edits and view images with ease.
Please note: New system plugins may become available shortly after the release date.
Furthermore, it’s possible for users of the DocSpace Cloud version to upload own plugins. This offers incredible flexibility to customize your experience and integrate specialized tools into your workflow.
Plugins must be in a zip format with a specific structure. Each SaaS portal supports up to 10 plugins (including system plugins), with a 5 MB limit per file and archive.
A more intuitive user experience
We’ve refined the user interface to make your experience smoother and more visually organized.
- Improved Drag-and-Drop. Enjoy a more fluid experience when moving files and folders.
- Redesigned 2FA Page. The two-factor authentication page features a cleaner, more user-friendly interface.
- Revamped tile design. The design for file and folder tiles has been updated for better clarity and organization.
Backups
You can now purchase backups through Services, provided your Wallet balance is sufficient. The Business tariff includes two free backups per month.
All DocSpace admins can create backups, but only the payer can activate the service.
