ONLYOFFICE connector v6.3.0 for Confluence: .vsdx, .md, .odg files & security updates
The latest version of the ONLYOFFICE connector for Confluence is now available on the Atlassian Marketplace. Enjoy enhanced file format support, a new option to disable macros, and improved compatibility with the latest Confluence releases.
Support for further file formats
You can now work with a wider range of files without relying on third-party converters. Newly supported formats include:
- Open diagrams for viewing: .vsdx, .vssx, .vstx, .vsdm, .vssm, .vstm.
- Open Markdown (.md) files for viewing.
- Open OpenDocument Graphic (.odg) files for viewing.
- Open .xlsb files for editing.
Navigate to your Attachments, locate the desired file or upload a new one, and select the View in ONLYOFFICE option.
The file will open in a new tab using the appropriate editor:
By selecting the Convert using ONLYOFFICE option, the file will be converted to OOXML formats (DOCX, XLSX, PPTX) for seamless editing.
Disabling macros
Disable running macros in documents to restrict access to specific services and limit task automation within the editors for other users.
Where to find (for admins): Confluence administration -> Manage apps -> ONLYOFFICE app for Confluence -> Configure -> Security -> Run document macros
