Last week we came back from the <a href="https://www.opensourcesummit.paris/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Paris Open Source Summit 2019</a>. Despite all the strikes our visit to France was fabulous and we are eager to tell you about our achievements and share our impressions with you.

Each event is always about people. This year 5 000 participants were expected to take part in the Paris Open Source Summit, of course, traffic disruption made its adjustments, but yet people were there. It was truly a pleasure to meet our customers who came by our booth to share their experience or just to say hello to us.

Some facts 
The most useful ONLYOFFICE editing tools for scientists are charts, equations, and symbols.
The most appreciated ONLYOFFICE collaboration feature is the in-built chat.
The most used ONLYOFFICE modules are Documents and Projects.
About 400 office documents are stored in the Documents module by the IT team of the Institute of Biology of Lille.
The most awaited feature is the macros converter.

At ONLYOFFICE, we believe that success is best when it’s shared. Therefore, ONLYOFFICE constantly seeks ways to bring its collaborative technologies to companies and individuals worldwide and our partners and resellers are a great help in this mission.  At POSS, we met our partners from Nextcloud, Arawa, XWiki, Pydio, eXo and discussed our further cooperation.
We signed a new partnership agreement with Ceo-Vision that has integrated ONLYOFFICE editors into GoFAST, a collaborative digital workplace.

What’s more, we met our new partners from Factor FX to tell about Nextcloud and ONLYOFFICE integration into BlueMind, an open-source enterprise messaging and communications solution.

This week the ONLYOFFICE integration became available to all customers of the eXo Platform 5.3 version.
The new version of the ONLYOFFICE connector for Nextcloud with real-time document collaboration between federated clouds is available on Nextcloud Marketplace.

The Paris Open Source Summit highlights the driving role of open source technologies and innovations in current and future digital transformations and we are proud of being part of it.
It was a pleasure to know that ONLYOFFICE was integrated into CryptPad, an open-source project administered by XWiki SAS that indeed includes ONLYOFFICE spreadsheet implementation in JavaScript to provide end-to-end encrypted sheets.

Some facts
Encrypted sheets are one of the most used CryptPad features.
CryptPad also includes the ONLYOFFICE word processor and presentations, but the developers are holding off on integrating them completely until they make spreadsheets more usable.
Designed by the French company, CryptPad is more popular in Germany.
