ONLYOFFICE Documents for Android v3.0: work with local files and docs from Nextcloud/ownCloud
Big updates are here!
We have added viewing and managing local files and docs stored in ownCloud/Nextcloud to our free Documents app.
Here’s what you can do with local files:
- View documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and PDFs.
- Search within documents’ content.
- Move, copy, rename, delete files. Search and filter your docs.
- Move files to the root documents folder on your ONLYOFFICE portal.
At the moment you can’t edit local docs. Don’t worry, editing is coming soon!
But if you need to change something in your docs right away, upload them to the ONLYOFFICE cloud for editing and co-editing.
There’s also a new section called Recent to quickly access your latest documents.
Starting from this version, you can work with files from ownCloud, Nextcloud and other storages using WebDAV:
- View documents, spreadsheets, presentations, and PDFs.
- Create or delete folders, search and filter files.
- Upload documents and images.
- Download files to your device.
You can switch between different clouds at any time.
