We are back: CS3 workshop and Univention Summit 2018

8 February 2018By Ksenija

Hello everyone!

Our team has just returned from two big events for European software industry, and we have a lot to share. Read more to get quick insights into the results.

CS3 workshop: cloud initiatives for research practice

Held by CERN, an international research organization, this conference was aimed at organizing a major get-together hub for pioneers in file synchronization and sharing software with a clear focus on scientific environments.

Our experience at the conference was vivid. Most importantly, as one of the speakers, we had a chance to present our contribution to collaborative editing technologies and cloud integration as accelerators for scientific performance.

Likewise, the conference granted prolific networking opportunities: having met our colleagues from PowerFolder, Nextcloud, Seafile and other fellow developers, we have strengthened our ties and got ready for further breakthroughs.

Reclaiming identities at Univention Summit 2018

As we have already mentioned in one of our previous posts, Univention Summit is an annual event by Univention that brings developers, software enthusiasts, and companies together to explore the latest trends in corporate IT infrastructures and exchange knowledge.

Being one of the Silver Sponsors of the event, we participated in the presentation sessions, demonstrated our document processing solutions at the exhibition hall and held an expert round table titled Augmenting Teamwork together with OX and Kopano.

For us, educational sector has become a truly valuable environment over the years, and the programme was full of thrilling surprises and insights: walking through summit’s BarCamp discussions we landed at Jobelmann school’s presentation covering the role of ONLYOFFICE editors play within HumHub portals.

Wrapping things up

The week was amazingly intense, powered by new discoveries and connections. We are glad to find out that our solutions are a great a great contribution to modern business software landscape, and that there is yet a clear path for further growth and improvement.

Been at any of these events? Please share your impressions in the comments below, we would be glad to hear opinions!
