How to use

• Click the Zotero button from the Plugins tab.
• Search references by author, title or year.
• Among search results, choose ones you want to add to your document.
• Choose style (e.g. Chicago Manual, American Psychological Association) and language.
• Press Insert citation.

How to install

For server and cloud solutions

Install the plugin via the built-in Plugin Manager right in the editors with one click.

For desktop editors

• Archive the plugin files (it must contain config.json, index.html, and pluginCode.js).
• Change the file extension to .plugin.
• Go to the Plugins tab, click Settings >> Add plugin, browse for the .plugin file.

How to configure

• Find Zotero plugin in Plugins tab of the ONLYOFFICE Document Editor and click it.
• Follow Zotero API settings link from the plugin’s window.
• Log in to your Zotero account, press Create new private key.
• Fill in Key Description make sure Allow library access box is checked and press Save Key.
• Copy the newly created key and paste to API Key field in the plugin’s interface and save it.
