ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors are certified by openKylin OS
In October 2022, ONLYOFFICE Docs got certified by Kylin OS. Now, we are pleased to announce that our desktop app has demonstrated its compatibility with openKylin, China’s first root open-source desktop operating system.
About openKylin OS
openKylin OS is a root open-source desktop operating system developed by openKylin community in China. Its source code is freely accessible and modifiable by users and developers. It allows the community to contribute improvements, fix issues, and adapt the system to specific needs.
The first version of openKylin OS (1.0) currently supports X86, ARM and RISC-V architectures for PCs, tablets and educational development boards, catering to the requirements of most individual users and developers.
Compatibility certification
Recently, in collaboration with the openKylin community, we conducted a series of tests on ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors 7.5 and obtained certification as a solution compatible with openKylin OS.
It means that users can seamlessly utilize our desktop editors to create and edit text documents, spreadsheets, presentations, fillable forms, and PDFs on their machines without encountering any issues.

You can easily get ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors on your openKylin desktop environment using the pre-installed software center:
- Open the openKylin Software Store.
- Search for ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors app.
- Click the Install button.
- Once the app is installed, click the ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors icon to launch the application.
