How to install ONLYOFFICE desktop editors on Zorin OS
If you use this beautiful and user-friendly Linux distro, you can easily install ONLYOFFICE desktop editors using snap.
Zorin OS is an Ubuntu-based distro designed for those who are new to Linux.
To ease the transition to open-source software, the developers added the Zorin Appearance app that lets you change the desktop to resemble the environment you’re familiar with, whether it’s Windows or macOS.
The recommended installation way is using Snap that is pre-installed in all the latest versions of Zorin. Because of the Snap integration, ONLYOFFICE app is listed in the Zorin OS Software store:
- Go to the Zorin menu and click on “Software”.
- Find ONLYOFFICE among recommended apps or using search.
- Click “Install”.
- Find ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors in the Office category of the menu.
By the way, Zorin OS is the most popular operating system for Snap installs of ONLYOFFICE after Ubuntu, according to the app page on Snapcraft.
