ONLYOFFICE is now integrated with Box

To whoever works with Box file storage, we have something to say!

It’s a well-known fact that ONLYOFFICE users can connect their Box accounts to the cloud office. Now the vice-versa connection is available, so you can use ONLYOFFICE document editors for processing files directly in your Box accounts. No need to download documents to your desktop anymore – edit docx, xlsx and pptx in the cloud, use high formatting quality.

Advanced Document Editors in Your Box Account

Thanks to Box API available we implemented a smooth integration between our apps, so now ONLYOFFICE Personal can be found in Box apps gallery. How will you benefit from the new connection?

Follow three simple steps:

  1. Install ONLYOFFICE Personal using the “Add” button here.
  2. Go to your Box account.
  3. Use ONLYOFFICE when editing files of Office Open XML formats.

Once the application is added just right click on a file and go to “More actions” for enabling the new editor. You can process text documents, presentations, and online excel sheets.

As soon as you finish editing and click the “Save” button, the file updates in your Box folder. Provide other users with access to your document, and track all the changes in Updates feed.

As simple as that!

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to leave them below. And don’t forget to install ONLYOFFICE Personal from Chrome Web Store to have your document workspace at hand.

    Hi there.

Does THIS mean that if I have a private free box account that does allow me to edit docs in box, I can have simultaneous work on the docs by other teamlab users that I shared the doc with ?
I mean if all of my teamlab members of the company account on teamlab do have a personal boy account, and edit the doc hosted in teamlab over their box account, is this going to work ??

      Hi Julia!
Sorry for the late reply. However, this post is about Teamlab Personal – a separate free solution for individual use. At the moment it is not connected to the business portals.
By the way, do you have your Box accounts connected to Teamlab? I believe, it will make sense for you team, as you’ll be able to share and co-edit your Box documents in a Teamlab portal with your colleagues.
Here is an instruction for that: http://helpcenter.teamlab.com/tipstricks/add-resource.aspx

Often we hear experts in the media that report a specific stock is likely to
soar and now could be the time to purchase. She invites you to
visit her site where she’ll share a proven approach to
start an online business. If you’re still with a loss, you are able to contact the customer care team
either by email, live chat, or phone during standard west coast business hours.
