ONLYOFFICE announces partnership and integration with Pydio

Hello everyone!

ONLYOFFICE has officially entered a technical partnership with Pydio, an open-source sharing system for private infrastructures. Now Pydio can accommodate ONLYOFFICE editors for collaborating on documents, sheets and presentations, using the newly released connector/plugin. Read this post to learn what is Pydio and why this integration is important.

About Pydio

Pydio is created by Abstrium SAS, a French open-source software developer that supplies both public and private organizations in more than 45 countries. Pydio helps companies get easily manageable file sharing infrastructure that protects data from threats at the very core, at the same time being transparent and compliant with strict security standards of data-sensitive industries. The solution also offers integrated third-party components among which ONLYOFFICE is a newcomer.

The central product for Pydio is Pydio Cells Enterprise, a business-scale sharing and synchronization platform focused on high-end data security and pro-level functionality.

What ONLYOFFICE adds to Pydio

ONLYOFFICE integration is available starting from version 1.2.3 of Pydio Cells Enterprise and connects via built-in connector developed by Pydio.

With ONLYOFFICE Document Server integrated with Pydio Cells, users will be able to collaborate on their documents, sheets and presentations without having to host separate solutions on their servers and toss files over from one system to another. ONLYOFFICE becomes the first option for secure editing and collaboration with maximum OOXML compatibility.

Charles du Jeu, CEO/CTO at Pydio:

Integrating Pydio Cells Enterprise allows us to provide a full-fledged on-premises collaboration platform to our customer. The mix of our file-sharing software and ONLYOFFICE online editor creates a drop-in replacement to SaaS-based solutions allowing enterprises to keep control of their data, in term of storage, access controls and audits. This is essential for compliance and information governance.

To get ONLYOFFICE running in your Pydio Cells, you need to download the version of ONLYOFFICE Document Server that fits your organization and enable the ONLYOFFICE connector in Pydio.

Reaching out to the new markets

ONLYOFFICE constantly seeks ways to bring its collaborative technologies to companies and individuals that need scalable, professional and affordable office solutions for their IT infrastructures. Our partners and resellers are a great help in this mission.

Nikolay Pugachev, Senior Sales Manager at ONLYOFFICE:

Integration with Pydio opens up a wide landscape of opportunities. It will become a very important instrument for providing European, and particularly French, businesses with cutting-edge editing functionality and acquiring great awareness of what the modern collaborative suite looks like. We are looking forward to deep cooperation in integrating two solutions together, as well as providing users with professional joint assistance.
