ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors v7.3 is already available for Windows, Linux and macOS. It offers the majority of the improvements of the updated online version and comes with some unique features, such as new printing options. Keep reading to find out more.
Like ONLYOFFICE Docs v7.3, the latest version of the desktop app allows you to create and assign various roles for field filling. Other users will be able to visually identify which fields they are supposed to fill out depending on their role marked with a certain colour.

Additionally, when working with forms in the desktop application, you will find new ready-to-use fields that can help you to create unique layouts more quickly: ZIP code, Credit card and Date & Time.
Starting from version 7.3, you can insert various SmartArt elements to quickly create a visual representation of your information in text documents, spreadsheets, presentations and fillable forms.

The updated version of ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors offers new options to password-protect text documents. Now you can allow other users to perform certain actions: they can open the file for viewing, fill out some fields, leave comments or keep track of the suggested changes.

In version 7.3, the ONLYOFFICE spreadsheet editor allows you to inspect, audit or confirm formula calculations and results in large spreadsheets with the help of the Watch Window feature. Using it, you no longer need to repeatedly scroll down or go to different parts of your worksheet.

In ONLYOFFICE presentations, there are also a few new features. First of all, now you can use the Paste Special hotkeys to insert slides in a more convenient way. For example, while inserting a slide in your presentation, you can use the destination theme, keep the source formatting or insert it as a picture.
Also, you can use gridlines and smart guides for creating the desired slide design, and the ability to save graphic objects as pictures using the corresponding option in the context menu.
In ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors v7.3, you can create new documents, spreadsheets, presentations and forms on Windows 7 and its more recent versions without launching the app by clicking the corresponding task in the Start Menu.

The updated desktop app offers some useful improvements for convenient and fast document printing. First of all, you are allowed to preview a text document or presentation before printing. When you click the Print button, you will see what the printed document will look like.

Also, you can now print documents, spreadsheets, presentations and fillable forms quickly, with just a few clicks. The Quick print feature uses the default printer or uses the settings of the printing device that was used last.

ONLYOFFICE Desktop Editors v7.3 allows you to have the application always updated to the latest version. If you enable the Autoupdate feature in the app settings, you will no longer have to download and install the new versions manually. They will be installed automatically, so you will always have access to the latest features and improvements.
