We are glad to announce that our developers have updated the ONLYOFFICE app for ownCloud and from now on any Nextcloud user can use it to integrate our full-featured online editors with Nextcloud for document editing and collaboration.
Today we will learn how to do it in 3 easy steps.
Step 1. Download the ownCloud/Nextcloud ONLYOFFICE integration app from GitHub and place it to your Nextcloud server into the /apps directory.
git clone https://github.com/ONLYOFFICE/onlyoffice-owncloud.git onlyoffice
Step 2. Open Nextcloud. Go to Apps >> Not Enabled >> ONLYOFFICE and click the Enable button.
Step 3. Go to the Nextcloud Admin panel. Scroll down to the ONLYOFFICE section and enter your document server address. Save the changes.
That is all. Now you can create new text documents, online excel sheets, and presentations and edit them using ONLYOFFICE online editors.
