Spring 2014. Teamlab Office Roadmap

Dear all,

At the beginning of each year we prepare ourselves for something new. This spring isn’t an exception. We are about to announce a large number of long-expected features for each module. Let’s not run around the bush, and go straight to the point.

Meet Top 5 Upcoming Features in Teamlab!

#1 Teamlab CRM. Invoicing

Undoubtedly the most remarkable novelty will be the invoicing feature. CRM administrators will be able to manage the base of products and services provided by the company, invoice clients and apply double taxation system.

#2 Gantt Chart 2.0

Less clicks – more info! Now you’ll be able to view all your projects timeline in a single diagram.

#3 Automate Signature in Teamlab Mail

This highly-demanded detail has been added to Teamlab Mail, so now you can add a custom signature at the bottom of every email.

#4 Documents check-in/check-out and revisions

Step up in document management capabilities. Use check-in/check-out feature to prevent unexpected file overwriting and get more control over document versions&revisions.

#5 Two-step verification

Security is our main priority. Soon you’ll be able to use an extra security level for protecting your portals. By enabling the confirmation sms code option, in addition to a standard sign-in procedure a Teamlab user will be requested to enter a special code sent to the telephone indicated.

Bonus:

Sharepoint integration
Apart from the ability to connect Box, Dropbox, OneDrive and Google Drive to your cloud office, now you’ll be able to integrate your Sharepoint account as well.

Email-in

Receive a lot of attachments? Save them directly to your documents with a couple of clicks!

When When When?

Teamlab 7.6.0 release is expected in the middle of spring 2014. Stay tuned!

Nina

  • Hi Nina,
I see 7.6 is now out, which I have been trying some of the new features, I am very disappointed to see the invoice layout can not be changed, is there any plan to implement this?

Sorry to be critical but it is not even worth using the invoice feature unless the invoice template can be changed as most companies take pride in presentation, this invoice not look professional at all.

    • Hello Petar! Of course we are planning to update the Community version as well, but later. No exact dates so far, unfortunately.

  • Great roadmap, guys.

will invoicing be part of the server version?

i m also interested in IMAP folders.

    • Hi Zep! The server versions are traditionally updated a bit later then the SaaS version. Be sure to see the roadmap for the server editions in our blog soon.

  • Hi Nina
Is there any plan for implementing email Templates?
Also Email folders either by IMAP (I see there is a function in API for getting folders) or by making folder in application, it is kind of annoying to see a big list of emails in the inbox, when they should be sorted and stored into folders etc.
Thank you for the great work.

    • Paul, my apologies for the delay with the answer.
Unfortunately we still don't have email templates on the roadmap, as there's not so many requests for them.
As for the folders - we have it in mind at the moment, however, no certain dates, sorry.

  • Hi Nina
Do you have a more specific date for the release of 7.6.0 please?
The gantt overview of several projects is my company's last hurdle before proceeding with TeamLab.
    We love everything else!

    • Hi Mark!
Yes, we do have a more specific date! :-)
We are expecting Teamlab 7.6.0 not later than the 18th of April.

  • Integration with a local file directory with direct Sync facility can enhance the scope of usage and popularity as far as Document management is concerned and eliminates the need of third party sync services. Do you have any road map for that ?

    • Hello!
Thank you for the idea, we'll forward it to the developers. At this moment, we don't have it on the roadmap, unfortunately.

  • Also, any plans on SugarSync of BitCasa integration? Like you have with Box and OneDrive and such?
