Overview

Connecting Telegram to your ONLYOFFICE portal allows you to send notifications to your smartphone app. With this option activated you will be informed about all actions with tasks, file changes, and other events via your Telegram account.

How to use

  • Open Settings->Integration->Third party services and activate connection to Telegram. You will need to enter authorization keys (bot name and bot token).
  • Go to Subscriptions on your profile page.
  • Click ‘Show to see all notification options available’.
  • Make sure you enable notifications by sliding the toggle switch.
  • Choose “Connect Telegram”. Follow the link to enter ONLYOFFICE notification bot in Telegram. Click “Send message” if the link does not open the app automatically.
  • Choose “Start” to switch the bot on. Now you can get portal events digest and administrator notifications via Telegram. To disable Telegram notifications, uncheck the appropriate box in Subscriptions.
