ONLYOFFICE Documents 2.1 with enhanced security and support for iOS 11 extras

Hello everyone!

We have just released the new update for our mobile app for iPhone and iPad that features Single Sign-On, can open protected documents, and fully supports Slide Over and Split View.

What’s new this time:

Single Sign-On (SSO). Following the major 9.5 update of ONLYOFFICE, the app received the centralized third-party authentication. To use SSO you need to connect one of the log-in providers to your portal: Shibboleth, OneLogin or AD FS.

If you are not familiar with this feature, read an article in our Help Center.

Opening protected documents. Text documents and spreadsheets secured with password now can be opened in the mobile app. It works with both online and on-device files.

Slide Over. In the new iOS update users can exchange data between the apps by dragging the selected items. Documents 2.1 for iPad supports this feature as well: select a picture, a text or a link and swipe to another app to copy it there, either with multitasking or Split View mode. Neat!
